house cleaning tips
We asked our maids to share their best tips on common bathroom cleaning challenges. Here are the professional bathroom cleaning tips they shared:
  1. Keep a small vacuum near the bathroom and give the floor and any carpets a quick once over every day.
  2. Use a small squeegee after your morning shower to slow the development of water marks on glass and walls.
  3. Keep a deodorizer, or a fresh candle, in the bathroom for a good scent.
  4. A simple nylon netting over the drain in the shower or tub can significantly reduce hair clogs.

How Do You Unclog Shower Heads?
It’s a common bathroom cleaning issue – a low-flow shower head that isn’t designed to be low-flow. Fortunately, unclogging a shower head is easy with our professional and safe cleaning tips.
Simply remove the shower head, and place it into a mixture of vinegar and hot water for about 15 minutes. This will loosen the calcium and other materials clogging the mechanism and allow you to experience a full force flow once again! It’s that easy. Repeat monthly and you'll never deal with this problem again.

Dusting Your Bathroom Exhaust Fan
Have you ever thought about dusting the exhaust fan in the bathroom? A lot of people don’t. But it collects dust and dirt, just like a ceiling fan does. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem as easy to clean as a ceiling fan. Surprise! It actually is. Compressed air which comes in the form of canned air is the easiest way we’ve found to clean out the exhaust fan in the bathroom. It’s also a good idea wear a mask when doing this as the dust is sure to fall.

Keep the Metal Faucets, Handles, and Taps Sparkling
Do your metal faucets, handles, and taps look a bit dingy? Have they lost their luster? Want that “new” look back? No problem. It’s easy to get it back with used dryer sheets. Simply rub the metal fixtures with a dryer sheet (I use the ones that have already been used in the dryer) and they’ll sparkle and shine.
These are just some of the tips we have for keeping a bathroom clean. Our years of professional cleaning have taught us a lot more, and the best way to maintain a bathroom is to clean it consistently. Since you have better things to do, contact us today at 651-800-4728! We’ll take care of those duties.
